Sporting Facilities and Fixtures
The College is ideally situated within walking distance of 6 local sporting
fields. When necessary, students walk or travel by bus to venues under the supervision
of teaching staff. In addition, the College has two basketball courts, a volleyball
court, cricket nets and a fully equipped gymnasium on site.
Procedures for Thursday Sport
Sport is held every Thursday afternoon in place of periods 3 and 4. All boys
are expected to attend. Doctors’ appointments and other personal business
are not to be arranged for Thursday afternoons. It is normal school time and
therefore usual attendance requirements exist.
Those boys who have special ability in a given sporting field are expected
to be available to represent the College at all times.
